Annulment is when a marriage is voided and becomes as if it never existed.
How can an Annulment pass?
An annulment can pass if:
-One person is already married
-One person is under 18 without parental permission
-One person is under 16
-Couple is of the same sex
-Couple is a close relation such as a sister or brother
Other Conditions
Other conditions for annulment include refusal to consummate the marriage, misrepresentation, or fraud. Fraud consisting of a failure to tell the truth through “silence” or a lie. This must be serious enough that, had the spouse known, the marriage would have never happened.
