A Gun Trust is a trust designed to own Title II firearms (restricted firearms).
A National Firearms Act (FHA) was enacted in June of 1934, with the purpose to regulate the sales and ownership of firearms. Under the NFA, all firearms are required to be registered, and taxed when a sale transaction is completed.
-A gun trust is an arrangement under the NFA where multiple firearms can be registered under one trust, and different trustees may have the freedom to use any of the firearms without incurring a registration fee.
